Ipad

Trying to get to grips with it, something's are ok others aren't. On my laptop I automatically got Adblock when I changed to google chrome, haven't got it now. Miss the right clip facility. Wanted to put a clip from tube on Mamyas thread but cannot do it. On chambers word wizard can't right click on a word to go to google and get the meaning. Any ideas folks please.

If you want to post a Youtube clip on here as usual, use Safari to go on Youtube, scroll down and switch to desktop site, they find your video, cut and paste. You may not be able to switch it yourself on it, you'd have to change back to mobile. I found using Chrome to do this still changes the url to the mobile one which doesn't work on here.

Car, what browser are you using. Refresh on Safari is the little round thing on the end of the browser bar, on Chrome it's to the left of the bar.

Doesn't always work Mick, especially if you're on the mobile site for Youtube. I had a though Car, do you know how to copy and paste?

I have no problem copying and pasting on my laptop. I use the right click function and select from drop down menu. There is no right click function on IPad. There is not a proper keyboard only an on screen one.
To refresh I use the F5 key on laptop, No F keys on IPad.
You mention mobile, IPad is not a phone its like a tablet thing.

Mobile is a term used for the iPad as well. To copy and paste a website or text, press your finger down for a couple of seconds on to the text or website that you want to copy, a circle will appear then some text, Select, Select All, Paste. Hit select all if it's a website, then when you want to paste it somewhere, ie, the browser bar, press your finger there and you will get an option to paste, press that and it will appear. I'll see if I can find a youtube tutorial, it's sometimes better when you can actually see it.

Car, on Safari, the refresh button is on the right hand side of the browser bar, it looks like a circle with an arrow on the end, indicating the direction of spin.

I hope all this reads ok, it looks dodgy when I read it back to myself ;)

Rocky the refresh thig is on the left side as I look at it, I thought it was a back button. Copy and paste looks awfully complicated, much easier on laptop.
My browser is Apple I think.
I have another problem, somehow the keyboard has moved to the centre of the screen instead of being at the bottom, I have tried to move it but it won't move, any ideas. Sorry to be a pain.

apple isn't a browser, the apple browser is usually safari.

chrome is another diffferent browser, safari is another. Ipads come with safari.

Carandog - they are odd to use at first, but keep at it - I love my iPad.

I use chrome on my ipad, I don't like Safari.

Don't know about the keyboard, try settings, general, keyboard and see if anything jumps out at you there.
