God, Please Somebody Help Me

Windows 8, new laptop with Mcafee preinstalled.

Does anyone know how to uninstall it, I'm having a nightmare. Have tried uninstalling through the control panel/add remove program bit but it just won't do it, it seems to pretend to then just won't.

I feel your pain, I had the exact same trouble on my Dell a couple of years ago. I solved it with their removal tool, they still email me now trying to get me to subscribe again even though I have asked numerous times if they will remove me from their mailing lists.

Daff, it's awful isn't it, the tactics they use to keep you should be illegal.
