Receipt Of Emails Using W8
When my wife forwards an email from her iPad to her friends using Bcc, one has a particular problem and I am seeking help please in its resolution. Her friend has recently taken possession of a new Dell with W8 installed. Before the new pc, everything was fine. I should also say that I believe any fault not to be with my wife’s iPad because everyone else receives what they should. Just part of the error message received follows which might allow someone to point me in the solution direction. 2 email addresses have been deleted for safety!

I can't really tell much from the above log you've shown. The "Sophos" header shows that it's been scanned by some anti-virus software - maybe it's being flagged as spam for some reason.

Certainly there is in this log the mention of spam, if it's any good I could set out the whole log message; however ...... Would you perhaps agree with me that it's something in her (the receiver's) setup rather than my wife's iPad? As I said, only one person has the problem. I think the next move is to try to identify whether the problem affects all types of emails or whether it's just those with or without attachmets and/or enclosures
If your wife is anything like most of my friends with iPads, the problem is probably with the message she is sending. I frequently receive e-mails from i-Pad users, who've taken a photo and decided to send it to me. What arrives is an e-mail with no subject line, no signature, and simply the words "sent from my iPad", together with an attachment, usually called simply "photo.jpg".
It's pretty easy for this to be misidentified as spam, as a favourite trick of spammers is to send their messages as images, to try to thwart antispam engines that are looking for key words.

Thing is that it's only this one recipient whose mails are like this, and only where she is Bcc. Other people, receiving the same email, also as Bcc addressees have reported no problems. All of this points (to me) at something wrong in her settings. She evidently hates W8 and is changing to W7 - we'll just have to wait and see if that makes any difference. It might, though, be a case of old dogs and new tricks?
I would say the problem is definitely with the recipient. Your wife could try sending the same email to her friend, if possible, from a desktop computer or a different email account, to see if it still happens. If it is being flagged as spam, her friend should be able to click something in her email setup to identify emails from your wife as "not spam". I often get emails from Apple users - Gmail at home works fine, my work email flags them as junk by default until I decide to "whitelist" them.
