Iphone Backup

Hey guys,

Just wondering when I backup my iphone using itunes does it include everything e.g music, apps, videos etc. The reason Im asking is that Ive heard it dosent include apps?

when you plug it into itunes to back it up it includes everything, apps as well.

It may depend where you back it up to, your PC/Laptop or the iCloud. I do both. If it is the iCloud it may not physically back it up, just the name and version that you're on. That will be enough to restore it should anything go wrong.

The iPhone back up file does not include any iTunes content (music, videos, apps etc.) or photos synched from other devices (Photos Camera Roll or Saved Photos are saved). All of these are redownloaded when you restore from backup.
