forgotten password for windows xp user! arg!
howdy!
I was stupid and I changed my password for my user account in windows xp. I have no "others" account so now I can't get into my computer! Is there anyway I can cancel the password or do something?!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I suspect from your question you have removed the guest option also. So you're really done for as far as recovering files is concerned.
I would get around this by borrowing and installing another hard drive, set it to master, your original to slave, boot from borrowed drive, recover important files, Format original, reinstall XP.
Long-winded, but it could save your files.
Now you're gonna find you don't have an installation disk, just a recovery disk. ....Ebay.
