New Tv,phone And Internet Deal
3 Answers
We've just signed up to a deal for our television, phone line and internet and the guy we spoke too said we'd have a minimum of 4.5 mb an average of 6.6mb and a high of 9.9 mb of internet speed.
Does this sound right for it to work?
We are currently with sky and when we went to cancel, the lady asked about what speed we would have on our internet with talk talk our new provider. When we said average of 6.6 mb (or whatever its measured in) the lady at sky said thats not fast enough to work properly, is this right or is it an attempt to put us off talk talk and keep us with sky?

HD TV: 3.5 Mbps
TV: 1.5 Mbps (for the highest quality service - lower bandwidth options only require 0.5 Mbps)
Radio: 0.128 Mbps.
YouView recommends a minimum speed of 3 Mbps for its service.
Unless you're into online gaming against other players (where a mouse-click from you requires an immediate response on your opponent's screen) I can think of no reason why your internet speed should be regarded as inadequate.
