Latest Posts - Can We Have More Of Them...?
17 Answers
in the top right corner of the page there is a list of the 'latest posts - but there is only 6 of them ... could we have a longer list please?
maybe 10, or even 12?
its just once i have been to all the topics i want to look at first, i like to then watch the constant updates, on the right, and see whats new, so itd be nice to have more choice to see.
anyone else agree?
thanks

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed at length previously, no idea what the outcome was though.

This page shows more of the recent posts though, Ann

They're recently answered, in order of when they were asked Factor - so it won't provide quite the effect Joko et al want.
I don't know if we could get away with many more latest posts, how about if we could filter it by a list of your "favourites"? So only categories which you've "favourited" get their latest posts shown? This might be more of a solution for the weekend Q&P stuff however...

persaonally I think that having the crossword and quizz replies in there wastes space, I have always thought that the frequent users of those categories sit in their selected topic anyway and already see what's going on without needing the recent posts prompt. Back in the day that's how we used the site, there was no recent posts option and we managed quite well. The addition of recent posts leads to neglect of some topics that languish without traffic because the traffic is diverted and distracted by the more popular threads, which are popular mainly because they flag up in recent posts.
