This is to all my friends on here who gave me advice about my television. There IS a sound fault with this TV, I spoke to Panasonic directly. John Lewis are exchanging this TV within the next few days. Their service is second to non. I would like to thank all the people who tried to help with this problem and here's hoping that the TX-L47E5B mark 2 is 100% better than mark 1.

Great news, I agree with you about John Lewis, I buy most of my dearer electrical stuff there now, they're quite competitive and the peace of mind makes up for any price differences. I bought a tv last year, same price as Currys etc, got 5 year warranty and a free wifi dongle (£50), Currys wanted a hefty premium for their warranty.
Good news.
the only critiscism of the audio i've seen on that TV is that its not very loud...depends on what you define as loud and how loud you want it.
Looking at the specs it looks like it will be plenty loud enough for 99+% of people

Other than that the audios fine
