Connecting A Bluetooth Speaker To Acer Laptop
Acer Aspire laptop 9423WSMi
Trying to connect a Technika Bluetooth Speaker, looked in the Control Panel and cannot see any Bluetooth settings - does this mean the laptop does not have Bluetooth?
If so is there any way I can use the speaker?

Have you actually looked in the manual (which is on your laptop, in PDF form)?

It's not actually my laptop (my mum's).
Found the Bluetooth button and when I go into the control panel and the sound/speakers section and press the button it says 'no device' even though the speaker is plugged in. Cannot find any way of telling the laptop to 'connect' to the speaker, the speaker does not seem to be listed anywhere and it did not come with any software.
I think I need to tell the laptop what it is connecting to, but don't know how to?

Is this of any use?

(I'd suggest ignoring Step 1 in the first instance. I would expect the driver to already be on the laptop).

Not sure exactly what it is that you attempting to do, but there are some Bluetooth drivers for the Technika speakers available here which may possibly help, (assuming it is for the same model that you have)
