Yesterday I searched for something on the net and found what I wanted at the cheapest price. Somehow, I have done something whilst trying to be a smart arse and I have lost the page. When I google for it now I can't find the supplier I am looking for (I think I cleared my cookies? or something). Why doesn't the net bring up the same search results? Thank you.

Does your browser not have a history facility ?
Unsure about the same results question. Maybe you worded the search differently ?
If I right click on my back arrow, it takes me back to previously-viewed sites - is it too long ago for you to do that?
>>>Why doesn't the net bring up the same search results?

Possibly:
(a) because you've changed your search terms (or even simply entered them in a different order) ;
(b) because you're using a different search engine ; or
(c) you've forgotten to use a facility within the search engine that you previously used. (e.g. perhaps you remembered to click on 'Shopping' in Google yesterday but you're only looking at the general search results today).

You've not stated which browser you're using. With Firefox, clicking on 'History > Show All History' will find everything which you've not deleted (either manually or through settings you might have in your browser, such as 'Clear history upon closing'). Other browsers have something similar.

Beyond that, there's not much we can do to help you unless, of course, you tell us what it is that you're actually seeking to buy.

I am on an iPad and I am searching for 'party food trays'. Don't know what I have done but I did delete some stuff in settings earlier. Not the end of the world, I can find them elsewhere at a similar price, just liked the layout of this particular website and as curious as to where it has gone.
On your iPad if you click on the book icon for book marks to the right of the arrows in the top left hand corner a box will drop down and at he bottom of this box is a clock symbol in the middle that is your history tab usually goes back about a week

Thank you coffeelounge (it was there!!!!), do you know how I can put stuff into favourites on an iPad please?
Oh, that's what party food trays are:

Party's were never like that in my day!
Assuming that you're using Safari as your browser, this might help:

Next to the book icon at the top is a square with an arrow. So go a site you want to be a favourite and click this button it then comes up with a whole number of icons. To save a site you can either bookmark it, Add to Reading List or Add to Homescreen

Thanks both (esp coffeelounge), really do need to learn how to use this properly rather than my half-baked method of trial and error (I used to be quite bright before I had children and stopped working (honest), brain is in tatters now).
