Can anybody help me in that when you look up your HISTORY icon at right side of page how can I quickly get to a date ie 30 December 2012 - I seem to have loads and loads of pages to get through. Thanks for any answers.

It would really help us to know which browser you're using (and which version). e.g. Internet Explorer 9, Firefox 18, Chrome 24, etc.

However this works with at least some versions of Internet Explorer:

OR
if your history is displayed in columns, with 'Date' (or something similar), at the top, clicking on the column header should place all of the items in date order. (Clicking again should reverse that order).
Presume you are using Internet Explorer.

If so, I believe the IE History option does lack some features such as that you are seeking. As such it might be worth considering utilising another program application that is capable of reading the IE History file and present it on screen in a more detailed report display.

There are a number of such free applications available for download, one those worth a mention is IEHistoryViewer. From within the report that the application generates on-screen, you can easily navigate to a specific date / time and if you double click on a listed entry, it will auto connect to that link using the IE Browser.
