Saturday afternoon ...

Girls' ski weekend ...

France ...

Bar in France ...

Full of French blokes watching the rugby ...

Eight English girls walk in ...

Bit tipsy from the last mountain bar of the afternoon ...

And ... ha ha ha ha ha ...

The eight of us were louder than the whole bar full of them ...

We were VERY VERY VERY LOUD !!!!!!!

Come on England !

England for the Grand Slam !

(Should I move this to Sport? or just "submit"?)

Will anybody ask me if there's a question?

my friend won a bet on the back of the swindon win, we celebrated!
JJ....you didn't mention it, but i presume that you were watching the men's game.......the women's Rugby team were "stuffed" by the French directly afterwards.
Mrs O, if this was in Paris don't be at all surprised, i found them, and have visited dozens of times to be rude beyond the point of parody. Allo Allo
Question Author
Yes, it was the men's game.

Why would anyone want to watch women's rugby?
I must agree, the people I met in Paris were as rude as the people I met in London.
Question Author
I'm afraid I agree with MT ... about London.
Now bearing in mind it's a Monday, its still early(ish) and I haven't had enough coffees yet so i'm grumpier than usual but...

Why is it a "win for the English" when 8 pi$$ed up women manage to outshout a bar full of men?

well i have rarely found that, but then i live here, maybe they were French in disguise.
jj, skiing in Sussex is possible. We have no snow and my friends son was skiing at the weekend.
Admittedly it was only on a plank of wood and he was being pulled along by his mates van up the steep bank at Robin Hoods Bay.
He will be out of plaster in around 6 weeks time
besides which find me a true Englishman, woman and i will award you a gold star.
