15Inch Flat Screen Television Fault

Hi I have an inexpensive 15inch Colour TV which has a fault .It works well for approx 30 minutes then the screen turns to off whilst the sound stays on .
Any ideas except for The Recycle Man ...........................................................................................

Is there a power saving function switched on? My parents LG tv used to power off after a couple of hours. I found a setting that needed adjusting. Strange there is sound though with your problem.

Sounds like some sort of thermal cut-out. Repair men are few and far between, and when you can get a replacement for £50 including DVD player, repair becomes uneconomical.
