Deleting Facebook Messages

I sent my c/card details to my daughter on FB messaging, I've asked her to delete it but not sure if she has, so if I delete the message from me to her this end or clear conversation, will it clear it from her end too or only my end? ty!

I've just tried it, I sent a message from Rocky Racoon to my real account, deleted it from RR but it is still showing on the real me. I suppose it's to stop people send harassing messages then deleting them.

In particular, "Note: Deleting a message from your inbox will not delete the message from your friend's inbox."
As I understand it, even if both sender and recipient "delete" (which really only means "hide") messages, they still exist on Facebook's servers. After all, the point of Facebook is to persuade people to give it data from which they can make money, so why would they delete any data?
