When you are downloading something from the internet is it ok to have a look round the rest of the site whilst it's doing that, or will that screw up the download.

Probably a thick question but I'm a computer newbie.

Minimise the transfer window and use the browser as normal with that or any other site.

It will slow down the download,
but depending on what you look at, it might not make a substancial difference.

I dont understand Space what do you mean by "depending what I look at"??
what Space means is, if you're downloaded and then also viewing some high-res pictures that take a while to load, then your download will slow down. if you're just viewing basic web pages with text and some small images, and you're on a decent internet connection, then your download speed won't change much.
