Have copied across from the net (Chrome) some quotes and I am seeing in the background in Word a pale blue box that I can not seem to be able to delete, for example tried Clear Formatting and Format Borders and Shading.

Anybody know the trick to this and then I can go to the MoFC and have a tailcock or three?

Thanks

Select Paste Special and try one of the options.
Yep, paste special and then select unformatted text.
May be along way round the problem but I always paste text like this into Notepad first, to get rid of all formatting.

Then copy it from Notepad into Word.
