Google's new personalized page ( http://www.google.com/ig ) isn't quite my ideal homepage yet, but it's still in beta.  When they start offering the ability to add your own rss feeds, it'll be almost exactly what I'd look for.  Google search engine, local weather (I'm in the US, I hear this feature doesn't work as well in the UK yet), selection of news feeds, driving directions search (again, I think is still US-only), my gmail inbox, movie reviews.  Nice, clean-looking, easy-to-edit, drag'n'drop interface unlike the cluttered screamingly-colored mess that is Yahoo.  Importantly, it loads quickly, even over a dialup connection.
