Phones For The Deaf

I have been looking for BT relate 3000 corded telephone for 4 months now but it seems to have been discontinued. Below is a site what the phone looks like and it has to be exactly like that. It was a fabulous phone - why they discontinued I don't know - I bought two pretty good phones but a few friends are saying they can't hear me although I can hear them a good bit because I can turn the volume up - having said the volume was higher on the below phone. I have tried all the usual sites but the below site keeps saying out of stock and I just try every day - am just wondering could you all keep a wee eye for it some time - thanks

The phone mentioned HAS been discontinued. Perhaps you should consider one of these, all specifically for the hard-of-hearing. (The site was formerly RNID - so all the things on it are for "deafer" people.)

Hi Conne, the link below is another place to look. A family member bought a phone because he is hard of hearing and he got it from here. Best of luck I hope you find what you want.

Thanks guys for your answers but I have been through them all previously - there is nothing like the relate 3000. Although 2 friends are telling me they can't hear me I can hear them greatly - I am beginning to think it is the line cos of course I have asked all the other friends and they seem to have no problem. Still sorry they discontinued the 3000 relate - it was a fantastic phone. I will still pursue hoping perhaps there could be out there somewhere a reconditioned one. Thanks again.
