Checking my latest mobile bill I noticed entries under roaming. Some of the entries are dated whilst I was in Portugal.
I made sure as always roaming was turned off.
The only link I can make is, using my mobile to connect to a "free" wifi spot.
But some other entries under roaming are family mobiles whilst in the UK which should be free as per my monthly bundle.

So are you saying that you made and received no calls at all while in Portugal?
Are you perhaps confusing Roaming and Data Roaming?

rojash. Did not receive or make calls texts to the quantity of bill entries. Explain the difference please between roaming and data roaming
data roaming is using the internet, roaming is using for phone for calls and texts. Charges for roaming will depend what network you were using. you will also be charged for incoming calls when abroad.
