Wifi Dongle Help?!!

ive just bought an android tablet and would like to take away over the weekend,as my accomodation doesn't have wifi,is there any way i can use it with a dongle or any other way?

Have you not got a mobile that you can tether it to? Even my ancient (non-smartphone) Nokia allows me to tether my tablet.

yes i have but not sure how to work that?! will it use my mb of data?
