Hi guys, can anyone help me??
I'm buying a video editing suite for my dad as a birthday present, but i'm not sure which to get and what all the different abbreviations mean. The one that he has hinted for is 'Pinnacle Studio 9 AV/DV' but i read some pretty poor reviews of this on amazon.
Has anyone out there know of or already have a good editing suite and can you tell me what the key points are to look out for.
I want to spend up to 100.
Thanks in advance!!

Pinnacle is very simple to use, but it does the job (and pretty well too). For someone who's not amazingly serious about it (i.e. you're not editing the BBC News!), then it does the job just fine.

There are other free programs out there though that are just as good, if not better, but are more complicated to use.
Well you could perhaps now I'm not saying I would but there is a possibility of downloading it for free anyway of limewire or one of those.
