Does anyone use the above, and if so, pros and cons please. Thinking of getting one for DW, any comments gratefully received! Thanks very much.

"DW = Dear Wife" LOL, hadn't heard that one before! You'll probably get away with browsing and Youtube, although it might not be the best experience (expect a little bit of lag etc) This is the best (more or less) 7" android you can pick up at the moment: http:// www. amazon. co. uk/ Google- Nexus- Tablet- Android- Jellybean/ dp/ B008J6VYUC I've used one before...

DW?
Looks like a cheap android tablet. Fairly good reviews here: Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
It's got the newest version of Android on it, but complaints include:
1* Skype doesn't work (probably user error)
2* Kindle app doesn't work (probably user error)
3* Screen not of great quality in terms of look or touch
^^ all taken from the Amazon reviews.
What do you want it to do?

You tend to get what you pay for on cheap tablets - low powered CPU, small amount of memory, poor quality screen etc.

I've used one before and it's got a quality feel to it which hasn't been present in the "low budget" tablet range.
