Phone charger springs to mind, on a plane or something but it would be interesting to know what you could run off it say on the equator :)

Something like that would be great for my electric toothbrush charger, we don't have a socket on our bathroom so all of our toothbrushes have to be charged in the bedroom.

It's a 'concept'

It can't ever provide even a minuscule trickle of mains power - not a prayer of that happening

It might (just) run a USB socket to charge a phone (or indeed toothbrush)

Bloody stupid......a socket in the middle of the window with an electrical lead.........my "old lady" is house proud and would not accept that..........neither would I.

It's not available yet Anne as Dave puts it it's still in development but is pitched as being perfect for charging small devices. I don't think anyone would imagine that you could run your washing machine off it.

It's a lovely cute concept, a beautiful mock-up and (if they scale back their ambitions a bit) it could work as a handy charger for low voltage devices like phones, pods, pads etc.
