When I start my computer each time it brings up the Hardware installation wizard with new hardware found "CLPCIID". It then tries to search for the drives but nothing is found. I searched computer and noticed CLPCIID is found in the PowerDVD folder. I uninstalled and reinstalled PowerDVD but still get the same problem. Everything on the computer works correctly it's just very annoying!

 Anybody got any idea's?

Can't guarantee this but .....

Start -> Right click on My Computer -> Properties from the menu.
Click the Hardware tab, then click Device Manager.
When you open up Device Manager, you should see your hardware listed.
Simply right click on CLPC11D and select Uninstall.
Restart your computer and hopefully you won't get the 'New Hardware Found' message

I'm having the Same Problem...  I easily followed the instructions and I'm sure that it will work...If not I will ammend.  However, WHY DID WE GET THIS ERROR?  Can anyone help with answering that???

This has just started happening to me too.  Have you installed any new software recently?  I installed a game called Civilisation iii a couple of days ago and my computer kept telling me that it had found new hardware called 'secdrv', now it's telling me that it's found 'clpciid' as well.  I wonder if it's to do with the new game?  I'd like to know if you've also installed any new software recently?
