Updating Drivers 0N Acer Aspire One 722
I have a Acer Aspire One 722 ,11.6" netbook.Windows 7,which I have had for just under a year.I am thinking maybe I should update drivers.
The reason for this is I am shortly going abroad and the place we have rented provides internet via a dongle. On reading reviews for the apartment,a person said the dongle would not work on their laptop as their software was outdated....a couple years back ,I couldn`t connect to the WiFi whilst abroad ,although my daughter could on her device. So I am thinking that is probably why I could not ....hence the idea to update.
So after having gone all round the houses...could someone ,probably ,Markrae,
give me some help in simple jargon...please.

Choose the options for your net book, I'm guessing that you are Win 7 64 bit OS (if you're not sure look in Control Panel - System)
There is a tool for checking and updating drivers for your machine. They usually work quite well.

Download and run the free program called Slim Drivers and when you run it will scan your computer and check your drivers and then let you know which ones need to be updated. You can then decide which ones you want to update. Be very careful in what you decide to update if your computer is running ok then don't update any.
