Sim Card Issue

I currently have a phone which uses a mini sim and its nearing my current contract expiry in about 2 weeks time. My plan is to get a top of the range phone to sell on for some instant cash and keep my current phone. The issue is that the phone I want to get to sell uses a micro sim. So once I sign up for this new phone I'll be sent a micro sim and I'll need a mini sim.

The provider I'm with now is orange and the deal I've seen with this phone is on orange too. I've also asked to change sim cards before with orange and I think they charge me for doing it.

Any ideas for a way round this?

Thanks

Do they disable the existing SIM before you start using the new one ? If not then just don't use the new one.
