Hi

My Samusung LCD LE 19R8 Flatscreen TV keeps turning itself on & off again by itself. I have checked the set-up options & there are no timers. What can it be?

Is it plugged into a surge protector extension ? If so try plugging it directly into the wall socket see if that helps.
Try replacing the batteries in the remote control ?

Also, if its not wall mounted TV, check that the back of the TV isnt being suffocated by items or things near it, they need a circulation of air around the back so they dont overheat and this can cause it to turn off when it gets too hot and turn on again when its cooled down. Are the vents dusty?

Like PP, my mind turns to overheating as a likely cause. (Many electronic devices are designed to switch off above a certain temperature). Check the ventilation.

I have same problem for first 30-40 minutes of being turned on, mine is Samsung LCD TV LE32R51BD. After this it will work all day/night. I don't know why? can anyone help?

Just looked and mine is plugged into a 8 socket adapter!! that could be why! I will sort this out and get back to you!!
