Casio Camera Charger

I have a charger for this camera battery which when charging showed a red light and green when charged. Now charger light flashes red all the time and battery does not charge. Anyone had this happen or know if it's battery or charger at fault.

Back in 2008, Casio were sending out new batteries, free of charge, when this problem arose. Perhaps it's still worth contacting them?

thankyou I did not have the camera then only had it short of 3 years. But worth a look into.

My wife's Fuji charger started doing the same thing. Turned out it was not properly connecting because of dirty contacts on the battery.
