In the words of Captain Mainwaring, "You stupid boy"!

I hope Man U do sell him. Where will he be able to go and play for the same wages plus enjoy the same success?

Good news for Hernandez though, he's been far more effective than Shrek this season and looks as if he gives a lot more to the team and to the shirt.

What sya the Man U fans, do you want him to go or to stay?

Ah - this morning the radio was saying they thought he would hang on, what with the new bloke taking over.
Bad blood between Shrek and David Moyes.
I loved the one about what year was it for Man U in the 2nd Div/Nationwide.....?
(shush tony)
Question Author
Yes Tony, had a bit too much to say in his autobiography a year or two back.
Though quite how you write an autobiography in your mid 20's I'm not sure.....
True though DT, it's from when Shrek left Everton. Don't worry I won't tell em.
I think rooney has lost a lot of his edge in recent years, man u have a good enough squad not to miss him at all.
Did I just hear Sir Alex say that Rooney's request has been refused?
When Rooney left Everton for Man Utd he was knocking on the door of being "World Class", but since then he has made little or no progress.

I would say that a change of Club may be the right move for Rooney.
Agree with cazzz, also has anyone noticed that when he plays against real top clubs or countries when playing for England he does not perform, he is no world class player imo.
he was beyond abysmal in the world cup
he's got too much weight aboard, la dolce vita me thinks.
isn't this the same transfer request as was reported a couple of weeks ago?
(maybe its the hair implants that's doing it)
Yes cazzz, the whole team were broccoli, but Rooney was worse, he was a passenger.

Yeah, but seriously, how often does that happen? It generally goes through within weeks. As soon as a player wants away, best to let them go, they only prove disruptive.
Moyes and the board will want a smooth transition, let him go, he'll not be missed and soon replaced.
My betting will be destination Anfield......
I think it happens quite often, peter odemwingie has had a transfer request refused this season by west brom
I have a feeling it could be Chelski or Bayern.
>>>Where will he be able to go and play for the same wages plus enjoy the same success?

Man U are not the be all and end all of football, look what has happened to Beckham and Ronaldo since they left.

Rooney could go to Bayern Munich.

They won their German league and cup and are in the Champions League final.

He would probably earn more at Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint Germain and a few other clubs.

Plenty of other clubs he could go to.
