Stupid Aol Email

For some reason over the past few days I've been unable to receive email from my work ( a university) to my aol email address. This is rubbish cos I do need to be able to receive emails from work colleagues. I have contacted AOL but need to know why AOL is blocking this particular address. I have checked my blocked addresses and spam settings etc. Still no idea. I do know that it did this a year or so ago, and seemed to fix itself after a few days. Any thoughts gratefully received!
