Traffic Cameras

Does anyone know if the general public can gain access to the satellite data/traffic cameras etc that are used by AA roadwatch and the like ?  It would be so useful to be able to take a quick look at the approach to the Dartford Tunnel before leaving home. (The Dartford Tunnel is always about to collapse just when I'm in the middle of it, similarly the bridge on the way home).

you can do this for the tyne tunnel, but I don't know about Dartford. Try googling webcam with the specific places you are interested in.
