his back legs. I did wriite about him a couple of weeks ago. Took him to vets and he put him on anti-inflamatory/pain killers. and I bought him Yumove tablets. He has been on them a month tomorrow. He seems better in himself although still has times when his back legs give way. He doesn't cry or whine anymore thankfully.
However he is having trouble getting out of our conservatroy door. He gets his front paws outside on the step but has trouble lifting his back legs over and out.? A couple of times he has fallen out the door and landed on his stomach. Has anyone got any idea how we can help him get over the step.? Our friends had him while we was away last week and they had trouble getting him down three steps. Sometimes he can just do it but other times he has trouble. Our friend tried to get him to walk down a dogs ramp but he just wouldnt step on it let alone walk down it.?

Try putting a row of bricks or breeze blocks on the outside so he can get out of the door and then put a paving slab over them sloping down which is wide enough so he doesn't have to balance on a narrow plank.
You can buy a harness with handles on he top. They have helped our old dog. We also have boots which help him not to slip on tiled floors.

What brilliant ideas many thanks. We will try the slab first and see how he is with that. I have started to open the conservatory doors, both of them wide open and he sometimes just goes for it without thinking or he just stands there for ages willing himself to move.! Bless it is such a shame to see him like it. Oops just got barked at for not opening both doors while I write this.lol .
