Ipad Problem Re App Store.

Hi everyone, this is the first of (probably) many questions re my new Apple iPad. I have just gone thru the registration with Apple, and when I open the App Store, I get a window saying 'Congratulations your Apple ID has been successfully created'. However when I try to press the Done button nothing happens, I can't download any Apps, as they are 'behind' this window and I can't get rid of the window! I'm not technical so any help would be great please ! Also can you recommend some good Free Apps please? Hope I don't ask too many more questions before I get used to the iPad ...

Most problems can be simply resolved just by powering off and restarting. To power off- hold the power button on the SIDE of the iPad until you see the red slider onscreen which you then slide to "off".
To restart- hold the same button again and release after a couple of seconds when you should see the Apple on a lack screen and allow to boot up.
Please post again should the problem recur.
