I recently had some work done on my computer. I normally use Outlook Express 6 but now find that I also have available Microsoft Office Outlook which I haven't used. What is the difference between the two and is one better than the other? Advice appreciated.

Outlook Express comes free with Windows XP (I assume you are on XP).

Microsoft Office Outlook comes as part of Microsoft Office and is a product you have to pay for.

I wonder how much of Microsoft Office has been installed on the computer, and if it is a genuine license.

Office Outlook will be better, with more function, but if you have not paid for it you may find it stops working if the license is dodgy.

Thank you VHG, I do have Windows XP and have used it for several years.
Presumably Outlook Express came with it. I've never asked for Outlook but perhaps it was included without my knowledge in the cost of work done recently. I'll try it out of curiosity.
