As I was coming out of Tesco earlier I noticed one of those portable NHS thingies offering a health check, thought 'why not', glad I did, apparently my heart is 5 years younger than me, who knew! And My risk of heart attack or stroke in the next 10 years is 0.08%, what a touch.

So to celebrate I came home and made myself a big fat bacon sarnie. :-)

Good on ya'.... having a check-up, that is. I had mine last Thursday... and everything hey OK... so BBQ at weekend and now drinking and smoking like its my last day on planet. (Not advisable youngsters)
I hope you used Brown bread , low fat spread - trimmed off the fat off the bacon and did not fry , but rather , grilled .
Good for you RR!!

I asked to get my bloods taken so had to fast last night was blinkin starving at 9am- trying not to get worked up awaiting fridaya results! I feel tired & lethargic but im sure its just work- but few comments from family made me go & check anyway xxx
That sounds like the dullest butty ever Bazile!

Nice going RR, I darent do one of those, the outcome will probably be very depressing.
I'm so glad you're fit and healthy and have a thick skin :-) x

Lol, it's thick enough Ummm, like my brain.

I actually went in as I was worried about cholesterol, happens that my level is just over what it should be but my ratio is very good, I think it means that I've got enough good stuff to outweigh the bad. I do still need to cut back in the fats a bit, I know it in myself
And brown sauce on the sandwich? It seems almost sacrilege to put sweet tomato ketchup on one.
great news rocky.
