Pin An Email?

My computer knowledge is very limited so apologies if this is a stupid question.

Is there a way I can "pin" an email, so that when I open my email page, this particular email is always showing at the top of the list?

I have Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows Live Mail.

TIA for any replies.

one of my email addresses is outlook, I can 'flag' an email to keep it on top.

I've never flagged one so I'm sorry that's not much help.
I'm a bit of a technophobe too.
