I would say VBA as I would hazard a guess and say most of your data will be in Excel or CSV format.
as OBonio hinted, it depends entirely on the usage.

If you learn one, you'll easily pick up the other 2 if you need to. Programming is as much a way of thinking about data and how to manipulate it as the details of any given language. If you can do this, you'll be fine irrespective of language and probably become proficient in several over the course of your career. Good luck. Another tip that has worked for me over many years. If any aspect of a language system seems too difficult, give it a miss. After 10+ years I still have a mental block about object-orientation, and have never found any problem I couldn't solve without it. It's the Political Correctness of the computer world !

Heh, object orientation is an incredible development in programming! I use it all the time, you CAN do stuff without it, but way more tricky than it needs to be. Anyway, i'd reccomend java, since it's much easier than C etc to learn. On the other hand, C++ is much more powerful, and learning it will make learning Java a doss.
yea, I'd go for C++, C# or Java.

C# would be my tip, unless you want things cross-platform, in which case go for java.
