i have updated to win media player 10.0- do i need divX- OR SHOULD I UNINSTALL IT?

I'd still keep DivX for opening files with an .avi extension. I prefer DivX over Windows Media Player for watching videos, anyway.
yes because DivX takes up less Ram there for Not slowing down your computer as much. isnt that right.
Actually, according to my Task Manager, DivX is using anywhere between 2-3 times more memory than WMP.

On a side note, when I play DivX encoded files in WMP, I get a DivX logo in the bottom right corner, which I don't get when playing in DivX (version 6).
