I accidentaly bought Norton Internet Security when I usually have the AntiVirus.
I have looked on the net what the difference is and it appears that the Internet Security is the better, can`t take it back as I had broken the seal so have installed it.
Would do AB`S think?

I think that you're mad to pay for such products when there are perfectly good free programs that will do the job anyway. (If Microsoft Security Essentials is good enough for IT professional such as ChuckFickens, it's good enough for me).

Norton Internet Security can slow down some computers (particularly older ones) but otherwise it will do the job adequately. However, if you really insist on handing over money for security suites (why?), Kaspersky is generally rated far better.
Buenchico if you look at Chuck's posts he actually now highly rates Norton, and says that new versions do not slow things down.
I wouldn't be without it kloofnek.

When it comes to renewal, shop around online and get the best downloadable version rather than buy it on the high street. You can usually save a few quid.

I bought it online at a very good price.
I am with Virginmedia and they do have a free antivirus which one can install but have always been wary to do so.Have always used Norton, nothing else.
Virgin Media security is as good as anything else also very good as an Internet Provider.

Sir,do you use the Virgin one?
craft1948...In support of Buenchico, I am aware that Chuck sometimes changes his mind and has been known also, according to his Profile, to even change sex. :-)

kloofnek - Yes I do. I use everything Virgin Media throw at me. Very satisfied customer.
I think that Microsoft security essentials is free because nobody would be crazy enough to pay for it
