Firefox

Firefox won't launch on my laptop, a little box comes up that has Firefox written at the top and the message 'couldn't load XPCOM. I've done a system restore and IE opens OK but all my faves are on Firefox. any ideas please?

Download and install the latest version.

it happened after a windows update earlier today,yes I'm on windows xp

I've downloaded and installed the latest Firefox now and it's fine again! cheers

Type Your Answer Here...phew back on my laptop now, (glad i have the Kobo arc as back up though) thanks TTG, it was that windows update earlier i think, my typing seemed delayed and everything was slow to load.

Dot, just to say that I took your advice and got myself a Kobo Arc - and because I took a few days to think about it, I got it on the special £99 offer!

well done puzzled, it is brilliant and very fast too. I love it. Any issue just nip back to the store and they will sort it or message me on here and i can probably sort it for you too,

It's a tablet from Kobo, excellent they are. mine is a 32gb, puzzled will have the 16gb.
