Unwanted Surveys

Quite often when I visit a website, I get a screen flash up inviting me to take part in a survey with the promise of a reward for taking part.
These are always in the name of the website I have visited. ( I have had one for Answerbank).
The questions are very simple and when you have completed it, you are offered a choice of 3 rewards, 2 of them are absolutely useless, but the other one is good, but it always says it is not available.
Does anyone else get this, or as I suspect have I got a virus on my computer.

I hit the 'no thanks' button so quickly that I wouldn't know that anything was on offer.

I may be a cynic, but I never believe any 'offers' of prizes or rewards on t'internet.

Thanks Hopkirk, but the snag is there is no option to say 'no'. What I have to do is press the back button and it returns to the screen I wanted.

I must say I never get that. I do get survey prompts but they always have an X at the top that you can click to remove them (and a No Thanks tab as well). Never anything that won't go away.

You might get better advice from others, but some sort of virus does seem possible.

I got these a few weeks ago, always pressed the X top right or "NO". They have now stopped, must realise i'm not gullible to their "offers"

I get this all the time and its really annoying and have tried many add blocks to stop them but still get them.

Download, install and run the free version of Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware:

(When installing it, take care to de-select the option for a free trial of the 'PRO' version).
It seems likely that your computer has malware on it that picks up the name of the site that you're visiting and then includes it in the survey form it produces.
