It only goes to show how much I know about Mobile Phones.

How does one telephone their-self without knowing the number of the phone from which their call is being made.?

I think Sherrardk means use the old mobile to call the land line then do 1471 from the landline.
Incidentally, there should me a "My number" option on the old mobile menu shouldn't there?

Use the spare to ring your own mobile, then the number will show up on the incoming call.
