Bicycle Storage

Hi To any of you guys out there who ride a Bicycle where do you store it ,our Shed is falling down therefore we need somewhere for the dear old chap to live ,I would prefer a type of Plastic Container style storage ,only problem is they are all to short ,the longest I have found is 1.46m ,I have thought about joining 2 together ,anyone tried that.
We have the usual Garden Tools and a couple of plastic boxes full of guitar leads etc ,so nothing we cannot move around .BTW In the home is out of the question .
Ideas please .

can't you put some hooks on the wall and hang it up in the diagonal so it fit
