Mac Codes

Just phoned BT to get my MAC code. Was told that they would email it in 5 working days and it would only be valid for 30 days. Is this usual?

Got mine from Sky in about half an hour. It is valid for 28 days.

A short delay is normal. (Expect to get a phone call from BT fairly soon, asking why you're leaving and making you a 'great' offer to stay with them!).

A 30 day validity is also standard practice.
