Coded Help Needed Please

I am attempting to play/open a video on the computer but unsuccessful. On one of the movies I hear the sounds quite well but no picture just the skin with the kaleidoscope of colours is showing (Windows Media Player.)

I get a message that codec is needed. I am not sure what or which to install.

Can someone please direct me on what to do, what exactly I need to install?

I would recommend downloading and installing K-Lite codec pack:

This should sort your problems out.

standard
full
or mega?

Apologies society, for only just getting back to you, I'd recommend downloading the Mega Pack (which is the one I use).
