help. When I try to copy files to a CD I get the message..not accessable,incorrect function.

My drive can play and load CDs. On checking it for faults I get the word that it's working properly

sounds to me like your cd is only for reading not writing ie it plays and loads fine but will not record info.

i meant cd drive not just cd !

no..it's not that as I have copied to cd before although it was music and what I'm trying to copy now is multimedia

You need software such as Nero to burn data files onto CD, you cant just copy and paste or drag and drop the way you can with files on your hard drive or floppy disc
