Need Photos At A Higher Res From A Lumix Dmc-Fs28
8 Answers
I actually won this camera, was very chuffed, but sadly when I transfer the images (Jpegs only, no RAW) the DPI of the images only comes in at 180dpi. I would prefer 300? I have looked through the online manual and can't find a way to boost the print quality? any ideas?

Take a look at the file sizes. If they're around 0.2Mb the camera is only operating with its 0.3Mp setting. If they're around 3Mb the camera is operating at 5Mp. If they're around 6Mb the camera will be using all 14Mp.
Those figures are derived from the table on page 15 of the manual. I'm reasonably confident that using the 14Mp setting should achieve what you're seeking but I have to admit that the way to access the 'Picture size' setting isn't very clear to me!
If you can't work it out, contact Panasonic via this form:

It looks like pages 33 and 55 are relevant. Make sure the picture size is not set to anything other than 14M. That gives you max resolution. AF mode should also be turned on.
