Why is it when I open a photo from my folder, using Gimp 2.8, it opens sitting at the bottom of the screen with no way of dragging it to the middle or dragging the corners to make it bigger or smaller? Thanks
Gimp opens up fine but any photo I choose opens up ok but it sits on the on the bottom edge of the screen and I can't see how to move or size it,by dragging. Thanks.
I don't use Gimp much at all and my picture opens in the centre, however, at the end of the bottom slider bar, righthand side, there is a tiny blue cross of arrows and this toggles the picture about.
Thanks lass, that was a good tip.I had to minimise the screen before the blue cross came into view.
IT would be great if the corner arrows were available for more smaller adjustments on size.
When choosing a SELECTION TOOL do you know how to deselect the "icon",it always seems to stay on the last choice made? Thanks again.
Sorry I don't know how to deselect a tool. I think it is just a thing that happens. If you have the toolbox down the side ( Tools - New Toolbox) I suppose it's easier because the tool is highlighted.
As for resizing I only know to go through Image - re scale image.
Sorry again not much help but as I said I don't use Gimp often.
