Hi,my When my Epson XP-405 goes into the offline mode,it causes all sorts of problems.On contacting Epson they have told me to set it up using the Epson net print port.What does this mean? in laymans language please.

Go to Start > Settings > Printers & Faxes (That's for XP. Other versions of Windows might require you to go via 'Control Panel' or to 'Devices and Printers'). Right-click on the icon for your printer. Select 'Properties' (or 'Printer Properties') Click on the 'Ports' tab. Scroll down to 'EpsonNet Print Port' and click to place a tick alongside it. Click...

Right-click on the icon for your printer.
Select 'Properties' (or 'Printer Properties')
Click on the 'Ports' tab.
Scroll down to 'EpsonNet Print Port' and click to place a tick alongside it.
Click 'Apply'
Click 'OK'
