Control Panel Different?

My windows has jsut upgraded to Win 8.1. and it seems ok, but I cannot get into my control panel, when I search for it, I get pages and pages of other Control Panel, of the local telephone companies etc, I just want min, how do I find it please, am on Sony Vaio!

if you are using a mouse then the simplest way to get to the control panel is to move the mouse pointer to the bottom left corner and right click - a menu of various system programs will appear
